  30. The new installation program also solves the following problems:

  32. 1. Supports MSCDEX.EXE version 2.21 and above and will give warning
  33.    if version 2.20 is detected, but will still continues installation.

  35. 2. Copy files screen saver files to Windows 3.1 directory.
  36.  
  37. 3. Solves "The sound card is not installed properly or support by ...."
  38.    error even though the sound card is set correctly.

  41. Notes on installing under Windows 3.1 DOS session
  42. =================================================

  44. On some machine configurations, you may not able to run the installation
  45. program in DOS session of Windows 3.1.  You will get "The sound card is
  46. not installed properly or supported by ....." error message.
  47.  
  48. You should install from the native DOS environment instead of DOS session
  49. in Windows 3.1 if such a phenomenon occurs.
